A 23-year-old computer
engineer, Mehvish Mushtaq, is just about the first Kashmiri to develop an
Android application named 'Dial Kashmir' containing over 500 contacts of
presidency and private departments - a 1 stop source for "essential information"
planning to help to the locals and tourists.
'Dial Kashmir' provides users more information like addresses, phone numbers and email ids of numerous essential services and other departments in Kashmir. It's a one stop source for info on healthcare, education, transport, police and thus many others and one does not need to surf through websites, official websites and directories.
